Perry, the former GOP vice presidential candidate who has spent much of his life in Arkansas, has said he has not heard from his wife since she was arrested last year.
He did not immediately respond to an email and phone message seeking comment.
Perry was indicted in May on charges of first-degree rape and obstruction of justice stemming from an alleged sexual assault of a woman who was 15 years old at the time.
The woman told police Perry forced her to perform oral sex and touched her genitals, the Arkansas Times reported.
Perrys attorney told the Times that the couple were divorced and that he has no knowledge of the alleged incident.
Perrey is a former GOP senator from Arkansas and has been a U.S. senator from there since 2003.
He served as Arkansas governor from 2011 to 2017.
Perries wife, Jennifer, has denied the allegations, calling them “a fabrication.”
She told the Associated Press in December that she was “a little shocked” when she saw the mugshot and video and that she did not know what happened.
Perri has denied wrongdoing.
