A ‘pied’ piper has been spotted at the Euro 2016 qualifiers for the country where it was first introduced by the Italian team coach, Andrea Mancini.
According to Italian broadcaster Rai, Italy’s Pied Piper team will be using the bird as part of their setup for the final.
The Pied Piper was introduced to the Italian squad in November when the national team arrived in Lisbon.
It was originally designed to allow the team to fly safely during the Euro 2012 qualifiers in France, where the birds were used to lure back the defeated France team.
Italy will face England in the final on Monday night in Rome.
