It is a question I hear often.
The phrase “piper exhaust flex” is often used to describe an exhaust system that is very loud, but not overly loud.
It may not be a good idea to describe your exhaust as a “pigtail”.
In other words, it does not meet the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) criteria for an exhaust with a “pipe-type”.
A pipe-type exhaust system is an exhaust that has two pipe lengths.
The pipe is shorter at the top of the exhaust and longer at the bottom.
Pipe length is determined by the type of material used in the exhaust.
For example, if the material used is rubber, a pipe-like exhaust may have a pipe length of two pipes.
The length of the pipe at the end of the end is the “pipe length”.
A two-pipe exhaust may be a “PIP” or a “PF” pipe.
PIP or PF pipe designators can be found on the manufacturer’s label.
The “pipe” part of the acronym “pipe type” indicates the pipe lengths that make up the exhaust system.
Pipe type can be determined from the length of pipe and the pipe material.
An “open pipe” (like a gas pipe) is usually the best choice.
Pipes in a PIP pipe system can have a number of pipe lengths from 1 to 6, but the length between the top and bottom of the system should not exceed the length specified in the manufacturer.
A two or more pipe lengths are not considered a PIMP pipe.
There are several other types of pipe types in use in the USA.
A number of them are not listed here, but you can search for them on the internet.
The word “pipe”, however, can also mean a number that has one or more pipes.
A pipe has four or more parts.
A typical pipe is made of two or three pieces.
A double-pipe is made up of two pieces and is sometimes called a “triple pipe”.
A “single pipe” is made out of two parts and is usually called a double-tube.
A “dual-pipe” is usually made up out of three pieces and can be used for a number different types of exhausts.
There is no single-pipe designator for a pipe.
A standard “pipe style” is a combination of three or more types of pipes, as well as a number or combinations of pipe length and material.
The type of pipe, material, and pipe length determines the sound you get.
